From May 25–29, 2026, Prof. Wael Ramadan and dr Nisrine Abouelnour from Mansoura University, Egypt, visited UAS in Tarnow and met with the Rector and Vice-Rector to discuss further collaboration between the two universities.
Prof. Wael Ramadan also delivered a series of lectures for students of the Faculty of Physical Education focusing on fitness training principles, energy production for muscular activity, components of health-related fitness, structure and function of exercising muscle, physiology of skeletal muscle contraction, muscle fibers and muscle fatigue and genetics of athletic performance.
Dr Nisrine Abouelnour held lectures for students of the Faculty of Arts, introducing them to sociology, its definition, and its importance in understanding human behavior and social interactions. The lectures also focused on the meanings and symbolism of colors in different cultures and highlighted the role of sociology in understanding social problems, cultural traditions and religion.
Our guests had the opportunity to explore the region, particularly Cracow, through a guided tour of some of its main tourist attractions.
