A graphic design student completed a summer internship in Ostrava, Czech Republic, as part of the Erasmus+ programme.
“I completed my internship at the main art gallery in Ostrava, an institution with a history spanning over 100 years. My tasks were very diverse, ranging from hands-on activities, such as preparing materials for educational workshops, to assignments that required proficiency in graphic design software. Many of the tasks also required creativity, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills.
The gallery team welcomed me very warmly and made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. What I appreciated most about the internship was the opportunity to learn through practical experience and to develop my skills in a real professional environment.
I will look back fondly on my time in Ostrava, especially because of the rich Czech culture and the wonderful people I had the opportunity to meet.”
