The University of Applied Sciences in Tarnów hosted  two Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programs from 23 March to 27 March 2026

The BIP  “Intercultural Communication in Management, Industry, and Healthcare” was designed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge to effectively mediate intercultural communication in diverse professional contexts, including business, industry, and healthcare. By integrating theoretical foundations with practical applications, the course addresses the complexities of communication across cultures and sectors, preparing participants to act as competent intermediaries in multicultural environments.

The BIP “Postural Hygiene as a Key Element of Physical and Mental Well-being,” encouraged participants to reflect on whether body posture affects body shape, effective movement, healthy sleep, pain avoidance, maintaining fitness into old age, and even facilitating good communication with others. Participants acquired essential skills and knowledge to effectively assess body posture and basic movement patterns, understand their biomechanical basis, and explore the relationship between posture awareness and satisfaction with one’s figure and physical fitness.

Forty-five students and two teachers from the following institutions took part in the projects: Veleučilište Ivanić Grad (Croatia), Lycée Brequigny (France), Hellenic Mediterranean University (Greece), The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (Malta), and Atlântica – Instituto Universitário / Essatla – Escola Superior de Saúde Atlântica (Portugal).

Students also had the time and opportunity to discover the city of Tarnów, its history and traditions, as well as to visit the Bochnia Salt Mine.
