Characteristic Of The Field Of Study
- Full-time first cycle studies last for 6 semesters (bachelor degree). Graduates are prepared to work in health care facilities such as hospitals, clinics, health centres, nursing facilities, day care centres, palliative care centres, hospices and nursing homes. Students have the opportunity to undergo a 3 months placement abroad in Finland, Czech Republic, Italy, France and Malta.
- Full-time and part-time second cycle studies last 4 semesters (master degree). Graduates has specialist knowledge in the field of nursing and other medical sciences and is able to define the standards of professional care at any age and patient’s health condition and implement them into professional practice, conduct research in the field of his specialty and disseminate their results in order to develop the profession, knowledge and practice nursing.
