Course description/educational objectives and outcomes
Master’s studies in Graphic Design are an educational development proposal for the graduates of first-cycle (bachelor’s) studies in the field of graphics, design or related fields within the discipline of fine arts and art conservation.
The curriculum provides an opportunity to acquire comprehensive theoretical knowledge, deepen practical design skills, develop soft skills and language abilities.
The graduates of this field are prepared to meet the requirements of the modern labour market. They acquire knowledge and qualifications in the design of various graphic and multimedia forms. They graduates are capable of implementing projects of a utilitarian, business and social nature.
They have in-depth skills to apply the tools and technologies used in graphic design and acquire the advanced knowledge needed to create and implement their own original design concepts. They have the ability to organise and conduct comprehensive design processes. They are prepared to work in teams, solve problems and make decisions, taking into account different perspectives and requirements of stakeholders. The studies are not only an opportunity to obtain the highest level of education, but they are also a path to creative and satisfying professional development in the design industry. The graduates can be employed in graphic design studios and offices, advertising agencies, publishing houses, as well as companies preparing and running advertising campaigns or designing websites and multimedia materials. They have the prospect of running their own business, where they will be able to carry out orders in the field of visual identification and communication, advertising and publishing graphics, website design and multimedia.
Upon completion of the studies, the graduates may continue their doctoral education at universities in the discipline of fine arts and art conservation. They may also pursue and obtain further academic degrees as part of their scientific and artistic activities, in accordance with the requirements specific to their discipline.

First cycle full time studies last 7 semesters.
