Characteristics Of The Field Of Study
Course description/educational objectives and outcomes
The six semester Bachelor’s studies in Administration are conducted on a full-time and part-time basis. Students can choose from the following specializations:
- Internal Security Administration – the study program covers issues in the field of security, public order, detective studies, crime and terrorism as well as crisis management
- Public Administration – this course enables the graduate to obtain comprehensive, directional education and acquire specialist knowledge related to the functioning of public administration. Students of this specialization will acquire the skills necessary to work in both national and foreign administration bodies
- International and EU Administration with French – enables the graduate to obtain comprehensive, specialized education and acquire specialist knowledge related to the functioning of administration in international and national institutions related to EU and international structures, provides the student with the knowledge, skills and language competences necessary to work in these institutions
UAS cooperates with the Higher Vocational School of Finance in Kőnings Wüsterhausen near Berlin, under which students participate in Polish-German Tax Law Seminars. In addition, students can go on a two month placement to financial institutions in Germany with the prospect of employment after graduation.
Master in Administration is offered full time and part time. The aim of the course is to educate specialists for modern administration. Graduates are equipped with practical skills that prepare them to meet the requirements of the labor market – in the public and private sectors, including skills related to the digitization of public administration and IT systems supporting administration.
Master’s studies in the field of administration also enable the student to transfer knowledge and shape the skills and competences that allow them to start own business. Students will also obtain high qualifications in the field of foreign language and soft skills.

A five-year degree program in law will provide legal education at the master’s level. Graduates gain the knowledge to move efficiently within the structures of the state and develop the skills to interpret legal texts using doctrine and case law. The knowledge also prepares for a career in law. The study programme combines general and theoretical content with specialization content to equip graduates with practical skills, preparing students not only for law applications and work in the legal profession, but also to be active in companies as in-house lawyers, as well as running their own business. The graduates obtains the professional title of Master of Law, which entitles them to take examinations for legal applications. In addition, the graduate is prepared to continue his education in postgraduate studies and to take up education in third-degree (doctoral) studies.
